Antilarval spray of Baytex in CLW

Baytex spray in all drains & marshy land of CLW was undertaken by M/s PESTCO ASANSOL ON 24 TH AUG07. It will last for one month to cover approx.250 kms of drains & water logged spots all over Chittaranjan. Last spray of Baytex was done in Nov06.

HEALTH CHECKUP OF MEMBERS OF WWOCLW

Health checkup of the members of WWOCLW has been done on 22nd Aug,07 and will continue till 31st Aug,07. Cpmrehensive checkup including BP,Height,Weight,ECG & Blood test for Lipid profile,Bl.sugar,Renal function test,Liver function test & Haemogram is being done for all of them. On first day 6 members attended the camp at KG HOspital in CMS's chamber.

CMD'S INSPECTION KG HOSPITAL ON 28-7-07

Dr.J.Nagrathnam inspected KG Hospital and inaugurated Cancer detection camp on 28th July 07. He also planted a tree in Amladahi H.unit. He was pleased to announce an award of Rs. 10,000/- on this occasion.

Executive health checkup camp for all Officers of CLW has been organised in Conference hall of KG Hospital,Chittaranjan on 13th Aug,07 at 0930 hrs. T satart with 30 Officers upto JA grade & above will be examined for BP,ECG,Blood sugar,LFT,RFT & Lipid profile etc. The programme will continue till all 200 odd Officers of CLW are examined & screened.GM-CLW Shri V.Shanker will inaugurate the programme on 13th Aug,07 at 0930 hrs.

Screening for Diabetes & Hypertension-CLW

A Hypertension & Diabetes Screening Camp has been organized for the staff of CLW. To start with initially all staff of 3-phase traction motor shop will be examined/screened on 07.8.07 by the doctors & paramedical staff of K.G.Hospital. This is will be inaugurated by Sri V.Shanker, GM/CLW at 09.30 am on 07.8.07 in 3-phase traction motor shop. Such type of health check up camps are of immense benefit to the employees as hypertension & diabetes are otherwise symptomless and the person does not attend hospital till late stage complications of the disease compel him to seek medical advice. This screening will be continued till all the employees of the workshop are examined over next few months.
